While we do not employ an on-staff vet and are unable to offer a low-cost option here at the shelter. There are options out there.
Alabama Spay & Neuter Clinic - Located in Irondale
Alabama Animal Alliance - Located in Montgomery.
Both clinics are a low-cost option, open to the public to use and YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY A VOUCHER to book with them. You can visit both websites and book directly through them.
As funds allow, we do sponsor some Spay/Neuter surgeries to assist the community with even lower rates. Please check our Facebook page for the next available clinic days (they do fill up normally same day or next we post them) or give the shelter a call.
