About CCVOAD
The spirit of volunteerism is alive and well in Chilton County. Within our county individuals have many opportunities to participate in volunteer groups. They include faith-based organizations; civic groups; nationally recognized fund-raising groups; and various public safety groups, including volunteer fire departments, police reserves, and emergency management volunteer staff.
During times of disaster these groups are a very valuable asset to our county. CCVOAD was formed to help coordinate the efforts of all these groups. Often during times of disaster, various services are duplicated while some needs go unmet. CCVOAD strives to prevent this from happening through a central point for information sharing and coordination of services.
If you are interested in volunteering in CCVOAD's mission or one of the many other volunteer groups in our county, please call or email us and someone contact you regarding your registration.*
